Lee Dental & Facial: Angela Lee, DDS

I first met "Dr."Angela Lee at her Park Ave office called Happy Dental around 2011. She had to rename her practice to Lee Dental and Facial because she had so many bad reviews. I unfortunately ignored them and have been a loyal patient of hers for over ten plus years because she handled my Invisalign case/ retainers. "Dr" Lee missed a big cavity during X-ray and I ended up with root canal a week later. Gave her the benefit of the doubt and continued seeing her. After she completed my permanent crown #30 she pulled it out accidentally with such brute force because she was confused on which tooth to work on while she had two other patients in other rooms, running back and forth. This crown is still causing me discomfort and after I complained, she just sighed and said "go to the endodontist". I went to a local dentist recently and was informed the crowns' margins were incorrect. She begged and pleaded not to report her (which I had no intention of doing). Gave her another chance to fix it and she claimed she did the "best" she could do given my little tooth structure. I went to another local dentist for my cleaning and he said I have to do my crowns again which will be my third time. During her second attempt to redo the crown I ended up with an implant. She contradicted herself how wonderful this tooth was #18 and in what great shape it was and somehow I ended up with an extraction. Her practice has changed over the years where she hires associates/employees with high turnover. When you think you are seeing her, you"ll see her associate instead without being informed. "Dr." Lee can't admit she is wrong and constantly deflects and blames it on other things like TMJ or my pregnancies. She constantly pushes pricey treatments ie vertical treatment plan (18k) like other negative reviews say and made me get a very expensive consult which did absolutely nothing for me because I don't have a BIG TMJ issue or acid erosion issue that she loves to exaggerate about. The xrays are PROOF that she is highly incompetent. She incorrectly did my three crowns in addition to my husband's two crowns. To further complicate things I am sure she is committing some type of insurance fraud because she is claiming she did my husband's crown for free. When I ask for treatment records the office is very evasive and claims the ledger is the treatment record. According to them, chart notes are doctor's private property that is not to be shared even though I requested this well over a month ago. We never received EOBs because they were sent to the wrong address. Our insurance will not pay for another crown for at least five to ten years so to fix five crowns this year and two implants will be an extraordinarily huge expense. This "doctor" may be a great businesswoman but a terrible dentist and unscrupulous individual.

Highly recommend this exceptional office! Don't usually provide reviews, but this was well-deserved as it has been the top dental service ever experienced. The Doctor and staff were not only friendly and professional, but also very well-educated and knowledgeable. It allowed me to feel very comfortable and at ease (peace of mind is invaluable), since everyone is so helpful, very trustworthy and understanding as well. Been to many different offices, and this was undoubtedly the best by far. Not only will I continue going here for the long-term, but will also bring my family as well; as the service provided here is unparalleled. Went above and beyond all expectations, and would undoubtedly give my utmost recommendation to this office.

I highly recommend Dr. Lee! There is no other dentist I trust with my teeth. Her and her staff are professional and extremely knowledgeable. Her new practice is beautiful and clean. Thank you Dr. Lee for always taking good care of me!

Dr. Lee is an excellent dentist. Ive been a patient for over 3 years. She is always finding the most affordable solutions to my dental and orthodontic needs for short term and long term care. Her office is comfortable and accommodating. Ive recommended her to many friends and coworkers who have reported back similar satisfaction.
