Please note that I am giving this store a zero star rating, but had to choose at least one star in order to post. Here's why Easy Pickins, Philadelphia gets ZERO STARS: One recent Saturday while shopping at a Philadelphia store, I noticed a large sign which read: Shoe Sale - 1/2 off shoes. I had been trying to decide whether or not to buy a particular pair of shoes there and the 1/2 off offer more or less sealed the deal. When I noticed I was being charged the full price at the register, I inquired about the sale. The person at the register told me, oh no that's for boots only. I noted the sign clearly read 1/2 off SHOE SALE and she just said she would be taking the sign down later that day!! She did not honor the advertisement, told me there was no management available to speak to me and proceeded to charge me the full price. I was absolutely appalled by this old "bait and switch" (and in very poor taste) marketing tactic presented to me as well as other unsuspecting customers at this store. I do not ever plan to shop there again and want to be sure to warn as many other unsuspecting shoppers as I can so this does not happen to anyone else again!!!
