Been meaning to leave a review to warn others. Terrible place. Stole my money. Never heard back about why Katherine Felix cashed the check I was supposed to be refunded and then sent a copy of it with no actual check... do not deal with this place.

I was a resident in one of their properties, the Fontaine, for over 17 years, and after all that time never really had to contact the office for anything. Then, when I needed assistance I was ignored. Kathrine is terrible, only answers your calls if you don't need anything and never gets back to you. I wouldn't trust this company for the life of me, and am glad I no longer have to.

This review is to WARN OF people from dealing with Delta Management LLC. Everything is wrong here. I have been a tenant in one of their buildings for several years. First of all, there's no way to connect with them. They don't pick up the phone. You can call them and leave a message but they never call back. Never respond to emails. Whatever issues happen during your stay there, you are on your own. It's not like they are not there to somehow help you, they on purpose hide from tenants and ignore them in every way possible. So, if you have radiators/fridge/whatever else they are obliged to fix or replace, you will be fixing IT yourself. Because you will simply never reach them. Also, the super in their building where I rented an apt was horrific. With the same attitude to tenets as the management 'DON'T bother me!' He was aggressive and was screaming at tenants, we were afraid of him and avoided him. Which means we could not expect him to help us with whatever simple requests we should be helped with when we pay rent. Again, we were literary afraid of him and avoided him. Super's screaming was recorded on video several times and sent to the management but again...no response at all. Now the worst part of my experience. My lease was over and I moved out. Left the apartment empty and clean. Notified the management the same day. Left a voice mail and sent an email. I was expecting to get my deposit back. New York LAW OBLIGES landlords to return the deposit within TWO WEEKS. I sent seven messages to the management within 4 weeks. With NO response. Finally, I sent an actual letter to the OWNER and BROKER of the company( very easy to find online). Letter was sent by Fedex to make sure they receive it. In the letter I explained that the employees of the company ignore my emails and do not return the deposit. If I do not receive my deposit I will take the case to The Small Claims Court. The NEXT day the employee who ignored my seven previous message (name-Linda Vinueza) responded that she will send me the check. Which she did. It took me 5 weeks (!!), numerous emails and endless stress to get from this company what I had to get BY LAW within two weeks with no special effort from my part. Here's an important note. If landlord does not return the deposit within two weeks and tenants take it to Small Claims Court, landlord will pay DOUBLE the deposit. And tenants almost always win cases like that (and the cost of application is about $20). Delta Management LLC is a disgusting place. They procrastinated and ignored me on purpose hoping that I will wear out and leave my deposit with them. Only Small Claim Court mentioning and perspective of paying a fee made them move. I took time and described my experience in details here to prevent people from dealing with Delta Management. I cannot imagine worse renting experience. You'll be better off with anyone else. And also, I want to encourage tenant not to be afraid and not let go of your basic rights. Don't feel SMALL. DON'T be intimidated by corporations and people like that. They are dishonest. If it comes to it, take them to court, get your money and let the Court deal with them. And either they change professional attitude or they go out of business.
