As a nanny of 20+ years I knew exactly what I was looking for and am so grateful to Nannies by Noa for helping me find my new family. I lost my last family due to relocation in the middle of the pandemic. I appreciate the process that Nannies by Noa put me through. It went into great depth and was very professional. They clearly had my best interest at heart during the placement process. I am SO happy in my new position and have NbN to thank!

Nannies by Noa is a wonderful agency to work with for anyone in the childcare industry. They are respectful, responsive, and supportive. Jo and Lucy took the time to listen to my needs and wants, and I felt confident that they were doing their due diligence in finding the jobs that were the best fit for me. As a nanny, I can definitely tell that they respect nannies and the industry, and advocate for the nannies during the process. While I ended up accepting a position I found through a former employer, I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Nannies by Noa and will definitely be working with their team again during my next job hunt. Thank you, Nannies by Noa!

I signed up with nannies by now, they were so detailed and tried to accommodate me as much as possible they were able to find me a temporary job with an amazing family, cant wait to keep working with them

As first time parents attempting to navigate the competitive world of hiring a nanny for our child in a new city, we invested our trust (and thousands of dollars) in Nannies by Noa expecting to be taken care of. Instead, our experience left us without a nanny and feeling deeply taken advantage of. A warning to all potential first time clients, A vital detail that Nannies by Noa is cadgey about: Their hefty agency fee which is a percentage of nannys YEARLY salary (which is paid up front) is NOT a guarantee for Nannies yearly employment. We enlisted the help of Nannies by Noa because they promote that they only work with career Nannies, professionals interested in long term employment which is why we were comfortable paying this fee instead of hiring a random part time babysitter. However to our surprise, our nanny put her notice in just days after the 90 day clause in the contract, precisely when Nannies by Noa is no longer responsible for finding us a replacement. When we brought this to the owners attention, instead of being met with understanding and compassion as we had been treated with before, we were met with an e-mail that was defensive, self-justifying and dogmatic. We were informed that wed have to pay the agency fee all over again. Thousands and thousands of dollars. Our budget was for 1 year, not for 3 months of work so that wasnt an option for us. I feel responsable to warn all of you who are in the fence of investing. We appreciate that situations change, maybe nannys intentions were to stay with us for the year, maybe they werent. Regardless, if Nannies by Noa claims this to be a rare situation, they (in a show of good faith and good business) should have offered to find us a replacement - two things they are clearly not interested in. Im sure they will defend themselves in their response below as they did in their email to us. We know that many of you reading this are in the same position so please be mindful of this advantageous agency loophole. Youre better off finding someone through referrals or Facebook parenting groups.

Truly a wonder to work with Nannies by Noa. As a nanny searching for a family in NYC, it can be overwhelming. Going through the application process made me feel confident that they were doing their due diligence on both sides, making me feel more comfortable that I would find a good fit. I felt supported by the agency and felt like they were working for me as much as the families. The CEO, Jo Barrow, is a world-class woman- she took the time to listen to my needs and connected me with families she genuinely felt would be a great fit. I would highly recommend Nannies by Noa to both families and nannies alike.
