This it my go-to spot for lunch salads, and it's not just because it's very close to where I work. They have great salads and a grew web interface that has my favorite custom salad saved, so it's very quick to order. Also when I pick up my order, they know me so I don't even have to say anything and I am greeted by name. I basically haven't been past the register. Also, they always have a 20% off coupon on their website, so there's no reason not to order online. They recently increased their prices slightly, but it's still a good deal for a healthy non-street meat meal in Midtown East.

For busy Manhattanites and corporate slaves, Food Exchange provides a one stop shop breakfast and lunch experience. The kitchen provides a hot stove for omelettes, eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Oatmeal comes with your topping of choice and the breakfast sandwiches rival McDonalds. Lunch fare can range from quesadillas and salmon to a fresh salad bar. Coffee is okay. I’d give Food Exchange a higher rating but repeatedly they always get my orders wrong and once they served me a sandwich with mold on it. Skip and go across the street to Oxford Café.
