We might have come on an off day because after sitting down, they mentioned they didn't have ice so a lot of the desserts that we had wanted to try were no longer available. We ended up getting the taho (caramel flavor - which was the only one they had) and the sapin sapin. The taho was a hot dessert (sweet tofu). I enjoyed the sapin sapin which was a chewy, mochi dessert but the taho was not what I expected. I wish they had mentioned which items weren't available when we had sat down, so I'd recommend just checking to make sure before you order!

The reviews / photos on Yelp made us really excited to try Kabisera. It was en route from where we were to our apartment so we decided to make a stop there. There's a counter at the front that you can order from but if you want to sit down, they told us to just go ahead and find whatever table was available. There were quite a few options for desserts on their menu, but unfortunately, when the waiter came to place our order, we found out that the choices that we wanted were not available and only a few options were able to be ordered. We ended up getting an order of sapin-sapin and a caramel taho (we wanted the pandan but the caramel was the only flavor available). The sapin-sapin was yummy with nice flavors / chew. The taho was interesting, though the tapioca pearls had no chew (not sure if that's normal for this type of dessert?). I'm not sure if it is a common occurrence for not having most of the menu available or if it was just an off-day but if the former, it would certainly be helpful to have a board or something that lists out what's available so that we go in with the right expectations.
