The Bridal Salon NYC

I'm very disappointed with this store. I flew from over seas to buy my dress en Manhattan. I scheduled an appointment and confirmed it. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment, no one answered the buzz or phone. Then, I waited 30 minutes outside, again no one answered the buzz or phone. In total I waited 45 minutes outside the store and no one answered. I left messages through the recording machine and in Instagram. Until this date no one has responded my mails or messages. I even wrote a note and slipped it through the door. At the next day they sended me a "thank you mail for visiting the store and hoping I had a amazing time trying on dresses". The best part of it, is that they charge you 50usd for a "no show fee". Hopefully they haven't charge it at this date. Don't recommend this store. Paulina Montoya Ballesty

The treatment I received from The Bridal Salon NYC was nothing short of a disgrace. The owner, Joanna, turned what should have been a joyous moment in my wedding planning journey into a nightmare. We confirmed my fitting for December 12, 2019, over two months ago. Between December 5 and December 11, I called and emailed Joanna repeatedly to confirm the appointment. I did not receive a single response during this period. Total radio silence. On the day of the appointment, Joanna finally took the time to answer my phone calls. Given her unresponsiveness, I asked Joanna to confirm the appointment was on as scheduled. She told me to “plan for it.” I informed her that I would need to lug my dress and appliqués to work and my mother would be coming in from Long Island, specifically for the fitting. Joanna falsely represented that the appointment would take place as scheduled reiterating that I should “plan for it.” After carrying my dress and appliqués to and from work, I met my mother at The Bridal Salon NYC. The store was deserted. I stood outside for over ten minutes, attempting to call Joanna. She never answered any of my calls, text messages, or emails. It is my belief that Joanna never intended to go forward with the fitting, despite the agreement we reached months ago. Joanna is aware that my wedding is on February 9, 2020, less than 60 days after the scheduled fitting appointment. I can’t express how damaging my experience with this store has been. Joanna is totally unreliable and due to their incorrigible customer service I am now forced to find a new seamstress less than two months before my wedding. I can only imagine that if Joanna or the seamstress was in possession of my dress it would be held hostage due to their total lack of communication. When planning for your special day, you will be better served patronizing a bridal shop that is reliable, professional, and responsive to your needs. The Bridal Salon NYC treated me and my family incorrigibly and made my wedding plans much more stressful than they already are. Do not go to The Bridal Salon NYC unless you want a real life wedding horror story to happen to you.

So very happy with my dress. Thanks again, Joanna, for such a pressure-free, lovely experience. You made me and my parents feel comfortable and welcome. Would highly recommend for brides looking for a private fitting.

Do not go here!! Do not risk your big day on this terrible company. Total lack of professionalism. The customer service is horrendous. Like many other reviewers, we were left waiting outside the deserted store on the day of our appointment with no communication whatsoever. Now we must find another salon on very short notice. This is a sketchy company and in the end we are so glad that they never got their hands on the wedding gown. We should have listened to the other negative reviewers. Be warned!!!!
