I live next to the LA River bike path so I decided to buy two wing bikes to ride on the weekends and to bike around the neighborhood now and then. I was able to put them together pretty easily. If you were the kind of kid who once took your bike apart and put it back together you'll be ok. The bikes work like a charm. The assist is very powerful as it is understated and quiet. The bike is light and very useable without assisted power. Last but not least, they are such beautifully designed elegant artifacts. A joy to ride and to look at.

Great product and service. Understandably high shipping cost to Hawai'i, but still cheaper than the shops in Hawai'i, while getting a sleeker well built product. Love my Freedom X for leisure and commuting to work. Great battery life.

This is a long one, but seems in line with other customer service complaints they have. On November 20th, 2021, I order a rear rack from Wing's website as a Christmas gift. On December 6, when I hadn't received any updates, I reached out to ask when it might be delivered. They responded saying that it would ship mid-December, but could not guarantee that it would arrive by the 25th. While over a month should have been enough lead time, I understood - the holidays are crazy for shipping, and a bit later wasn't a big deal. I followed up on the 26th, just wanting a better estimate as it still hadn't shipped and was told they hadn't arrived at the warehouse yet. Frustrating, but again I know the holidays are unpredictable. A full month later, I asked again for an update. Not only had I not received any shipping information, I hadn't received any sort of outreach from Wing about an unfulfilled order placed two months ago. Wing said that the racks were apparently still on a ship waiting to be unloaded and they'd have them in "a couple of weeks." So much for mid-December, but ok. Another month later, at the end of February, I firmly said that I'd like some more concrete information. I was told they were still on the boat and it would be 1-3 weeks. Hearing that, I gave up and essentially asked if I would be able to get a refund. They said I could cancel the order after 3 weeks if they were still unable to ship at that time. I've never heard of a company "allowing" someone to get a refund with time restrictions, but it was too tiring to argue. 3 weeks later, I asked for a refund as soon as possible. I fully acknowledge, and acknowledged to Wing directly, that port delays are not within their power, but I had to reach out for assistance and information myself multiple times and had yet to get an accurate timeframe for a purchase I made in November (let alone any solutions). A few days later I was told that it had shipped, but with still no tracking information after 4 months I said I wanted a refund instead. I was told "no worries!" and that they would just have to get in touch with the warehouse to reroute the package before issuing the refund. More than a week later, I got a notification it had shipped (note, this was more than a week after Wing said it shipped over email and that they'd reroute the package). Again, I had to be the one to reach out to see why it was still being sent to me, and ask for a solution. I was told to reject the package, which isn't possible as I live in a large apartment building where the packages are just dropped in a communal space. I expressed that this would not work, and asked if there was anything to be done before it arrived, short of returning the package myself, to get my money back...I was told that they sent me a label so I could return it myself. It may not seem like much, but I do not appreciate that I either do not get my money back or it is now my responsibility to ship it back to them. I wish that was the end. The rack was delivered today, April 4th, 4 and a half months later. It was a small rack in a large box with enough extra room that I'm sure it was banging around, with a bit of bubble wrap twisted around half of it. Not to mention the box was open upon delivery, as there was one piece of tape securing the top, though who knows whose fault that is. I'm giving two stars because sure, the rack is fine, it fits the bike and it does what it's supposed to do. I also want to be fair and acknowledge that the individual helping me was certainly not causing the delays herself. But the lack of communication and accurate information, the lack of help until prompted, the failure to successfully reroute the package and the onus being put on me has made this one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I really wish Wing did not have my money.

Got my Wing Bike secondhand about a year ago with less than 100 miles on it and have now pushed the odometer to 1k+. This is an extremely well made bike for the price. It is perfect for City Riding and the racks come in handy when running quick errands. I ride this bike everywhere. The battery is also a good size. Gets me about 20 miles with a hybrid approach (throttle + pedal assist). It's a smooth ride for the most part, unless you hit a deep pothole but not even cars are safe from the NYC potholes. The staff at the store is also very helpful and was what pushed me to get a bike from them after seeing the store in the Village. I've ridden this bike in heavy rain and snow and it holds up very nicely. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking to get an E-bike. The seating position is also very comfortable (takes some getting used to but I traded up from a road bike with drops so this is just my take). The bike also just looks stunning. I get complements and looks all the time with the bike. It's very stylish on top of a great ride. You're getting a LOT of bike for a relatively low amount of money. A Van Moof would run you almost double than a Wing but I doubt it's a considerably better ride than a Wing. Furthermore, the bike is not too heavy. You can easily throw it on your shoulders and carry it up some stairs if necessary unlike other E bikes which are pushing 60+ pounds. If you're looking for a good all rounder for errands as well as leisure, I would highly recommend a WIng. I have the Freedom 2.

After doing some thorough research about ebikes, i decided to go with wing, and I'm glad I did, my initial purchase was the S, which I was so satisfied with, I bought the Freedom 2 and Fatty2. The design, engineering, quality and performance are beyond words. Especially when you're riding through the national parks or along the bike paths or roads. Life is incredible when combinging outstanding ebikes like Wing with breathtaking geographical locations. I referred multiple friends and colleagues to be a part of the wing community. Great Job! Keep up the good work. btw all three bikes were delivered quickly and were extremely easy to assemble. My favorite is probably the Freedom 2 because it is lightweight, super sleek, feels like a regular bike and is super fun to ride.
