image Where to start? Exceptional service, creative twists on classic tastes, somehow buried just off Time Square.
The beautiful variety presented on the menu is best experienced through the Chef's tasting menu. $75 each for two got us 2 amuse bouche, 5 starters, 2 mains, a side and 2 desserts. Add the wine pairing for $40. 4 full pours.
    Can't wait to come back!

image Alas tapas is not 'my bag'. The quality seemed really good and - based on the comments of my colleague (who lived and worked in northern Spain for a couple of years) - the dishes were authentic. There was the occasional twist (I was informed). Wonderful ambience in the bar area at the front (where we sat). A little quieter down the back (where they initially tried to seat us). Service polite - but somewhat rushed (which added to the atmosphere).

image Stellar paella - must try. Definitely on the expensive side but food is great and the servers are all very nice.
