My husband and I retained Arthur years ago. I just looked him up because we're going to hire him again. He's super smart, extremely honest and very fair with his billing. We used him for a real estate insurance matter and then for an employment matter. We won both cases.

NO I do not recommend. Arthur Soong gave me bad advice that cost me thousands. First he took unknown amount of money from the deceased to do will. Then he took $5000 from executor to ‘dissolve’ estate papers, not sure what that means, but he said something about not paying taxes. Afterwards, he took on only one party as a client making him unavailable to help (me) the other party. So the first party was able to essentially steal all the money from the joint accounts that originally had above two parties after he did what he did with paperwork. Then he wouldn’t and/or couldn’t testify that he heard the verbal agreement between the two parties spoken in his office, agreeing that the will would be carried out as wished (divided equally) because he created a conflict of interest by retaining one person involved. Whatever he did made the will void. 5 years later when you think it’s all over he sends an invoice for the deceased back taxes. Unprofessional legal adviser. Zero stars!!!

Through a referral by a former manager in dire need of an attorney to represent and protect my interests, Arthur J. Soong, Esquire is below MEH.  The man may be professional to communicate with me as a client in person but he hones a communication triangle of unwarranted antagonistic hostility together with staff, under the layers, privately against me vs. my former love's attorney.  Attitude commission check required!!  To eradicate me quicker as a client, he quickly sift through a haphazard job for a detailed review of my legal documents where he did not catch gross errors of duplicate language as I have found and gladly point.Arthur J. Soong, Esq. is a uncompassionate man empty of substance like his stolid soul.  This attorney is always unreachable to clients who takes an eternity to make my requested edits in the stipulation and judgement of settlement a very low enduring suffering priority.  A very difficult attorney to work with as I was the defendant who require legal assistance.  There is no equality and his attorney fees are somewhat excessively high.  Martindale-Hubbell lists him practicing in NYS with a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.  He never enrolled in Mr. Manners school which is required for customer service and communication skills as he lacks excessively.
