City Gallery Painting

This is the best framing store in NYC. We had a print sized 33.1x46.8 (so rather large) done here. Sam is so friendly and helpful. We dropped this off on Friday and got the print back fully framed on Tuesday! Not only was this place far less expensive than 5 other places in the area I got a quote from, but had the art complete in 2 business days - when I was quoted 3-4 weeks at several other places. This is the only place I will be going from now on!

I rarely post bad reviews but this case is unique. I had a poster framed here and they did a terrible job stretching it, when I came back he told me it would be about 150$ (after paying 250$ to frame it originally) to stretch it appropriately. Far from being a professional place and I would never trust them with my arts again. From what I could tell Sam is more of a salesman (not a good one) than a framer. he tried to upsell me on literally anything. He would sell me air if he could.

What a great place to have my art work framed. Very patient in picking out frame and matting. The owner has a real good eye for selecting frame and matting that brings out the art work. They also deliver for free. No schlepping it back and forth. Thanks again for a great job!!!

I never write reviews. I came to this shop because it looked like a small family business. Unfortunately they are unprofessional and were not able to deliver as promised neither on time or quality. After blaming covid for delay and refunding me my payment for service, they ask me what I wanted them to do to solve their problems for the delay. Not my job.
