The Ormonde

I recently moved here and came down with severe respiratory problems. After 2 months of doctor visits, I checked the building provided air conditioning and discovered they were infested with mold. (please see pictures below which were taken AFTER I vacuumed the dust out) The building does not maintain the units and will not take responsibility

Lived in this building for over a year now, the staff is amazing and responds fast to any request. All doormen know you pretty quickly and are always friendly. Management has been great and responsive with any request or question we had. The finishes in the apartment are very high end.

Current resident. Have not had gas hook up for stove/oven/dryer in over a month. Communication is poor and building only giving 5% back on rent.

Almost qualifies for no stars. I’ll give one star for the three good doormen: Jerry, Carlos, and Max. Other than those guys, the building management and staff is completely incompetent. No live-in super, unacceptable for a 150+ unit building. Had no gas for over a month and the building never gave an honest timeline on how soon we’d get it back. Never any talk about adjusting the rent for the month everyone had to eat out. Windows are single pane and drafty, letting in lots of outside noise and air. Heat barely worked in the winter - apartment was often below 60 degrees. Would move asap if moving wasn’t such a pain.
