I can’t recommend this place enough!! Rob, Lindsay and Cera made sure I had a smooth application process and that everything was made in time for the date I needed to move (with less than 1 week notice) not only that but I was able to do the whole process online and they answered my thousand questions and inquiries with the best service possible. If you are looking for a home feeling The Octagon is the place for you, nicest community in NY, you won’t regret it!

I lived here for three years. It’s a rather quite and dog friendly neighborhood(dog runs and tennis courts within 5 minutes walk) The management team is always responsive and addresses all my requests/ issues in a timely manner. The guys at the front desk are friendly and helpful (not so much for the gals). Although it is located a bit far from the F train subway, it has free red bus shuttle service (along with free Octagon shuttle on the weekend). If I have to complain, I would say that one of the elevators is out of service but other than that, I cannot think of any other reasons to give a low rating! Kudos to the management team! Last but least, I got my security deposit back within two weeks after the move-out!

Well maintained apartments & building with great amenities like gym, clubroom, swimming pool, courtyard with BBQ grills. Good management and staff. Safe, peaceful, and beautiful neighborhood!

Really agree with another review 'Concierge and maintenance staff are awesome, though! They deserve better!' Lived in this place for one year, satisfied with everything and planned to renew my lease and contacted the leasing office. This is what I learnt later: 1. Every one in leasing office likes to say something like 'I will have an answer to this next Monday.' This means they will never get back to you if you don't follow up. 2. Don't ask more than one questions in one email. they will only answer one question each time. 3. Sometimes when you follow up with a most recent email, they will reply you but give answer to a previous email which they did not reply before. So funny. Again, I really like the concierge team. All of them are super friendly and nice. The place is a great place. Quiet and beautiful. The red bus is also very convenient. Great amenity. The neighbors are also friendly. Another bad thing is that it took forever to repair the elevators. I don't remember whether there was a single day during last year that all elevators in the building work.
