Came here for an 8:30pm reservation last Friday night, for a group of 9. Restaurant wasn't packed at all.
I lost count how many times they served us water in between the appetizer and main course - prob around 45 min. Half our courses were sandwiches... seriously? Our wait staff wasn't even apologetic. I noticed them chatting in the corner as time went on. I was also peeved when they gave us a hard time about wanting to split the bill with different credit cards.
Most of the food was good, but expensive. Some of the menu items had an asian twist to it.

Mediocre, pretty tasteless food, served hot if you're lucky. Mostly incompetent, unprofessional staff who can be rude, but not in an interesting way. Small, overpriced portions. And where do they find such lame bagels in New York?

The food was delicious, and you could tell it was all home made and very fresh. We went there for lunch and had latkes, matzoh ball soup, pastrami, and brisket. I can't say enough how delicious the food was. The portions for the soup & half sandwich could have been a bit larger for the price, but was so full of flavor! Our server was Gina, and she couldn't have been any more friendly and attentive. The host and busboy were equally as friendly. Definitely a restaurant to visit again and again.

The ultimate spot for amazing Jewish comfort food - we're talking awesome latkes, pastrami reuben egg rolls, matzah ball soup, & brisket. Service could be better, but the food still makes it worth it.

The food was EXCELLENT, the best we ever had. Our young waitress was lovely, helpful and polite. My husband and I had never been to Kutsher's before and wanted to try it. We found a Groupon and thought it was the perfect opportunity to give it a shot and celebrate our Anniversary. So we went for brunch. The restaurant manager on Sunday morning, August 10th, (I wish I'd gotten her name) would not honor our groupon. We were supposed to receive two soups, one appetizer, two entrees and two drinks each for the $69 Groupon. She came to our table and told us that we purchased a dinner Groupon and it really was not to be used for brunch, but she would be nice and honor it, but she would have to charge us extra for the soup (which we had already eaten by this time). We agreed and apologized for our error with the whole brunch/dinner thing as it was not stated on the groupon. We got the check, not only did she charge us $21.00 for the soup, she charged us $12.00 for each of 4 drinks which were to be included (not to mention that those drinks are normally $9). All she did for us was put our $69.00 toward a bill of $137.00. If we had known she was going to do that, we would have ordered much differently. We would not have had drinks, we would not have ordered soup. We were completely ripped off and when we tried to explain that these things were included in the Groupon, she told us they were not. Not wanting to make a scene, we left. We were so angry, we will never go back to Kutsher's again. Also, I intend to tell everyone that I speak with how unfortunate our experience was there. I hope that someone who works for Groupon will read this.
