shrimp mac and cheese tasted good. I'd prefer a little more seasoning in it. Same with the steak. Crab cake was really delicious. Waiter was very helpful and attentive. Give extra time to look for parking in this area. Food : 4/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 4/5 More

This restaurant is a delight. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and utterly indulgent food! We sampled a bit of everything, and the best part is that their fabulous brunch is available all day long! Yes, that did mean red velvet waffle for dinner and yes it was PERFECT. Recommended dishes Shrimp and Grits, Mac & Cheese, BBQ Baby Back Ribs with Mac and Cheese and Cole Slaw, Pancakes, Grilled Lollipop Lamb Chops More

There are so many phenomenal brunch spots in Harlem. Go there not here. Read this review and save your time. I made a reservation online and put in the notes that it was an 80th birthday lunch. We arrived on time and after ten minutes we were directed to the loudest and smallest room. We then waited over an hour to be placed at a table that was a comfortable distance from the speakers so that we could actually speak to my grandmother! Then the large party we ended up next to was intoxicated and loud. Now the food: the menu states Baby Back Ribs and my grandmother was served spare ribs. At the end of each rib was loose cartilage that she luckily did not choke on. I didnt try the coleslaw that came with it but the face my sister and grandma made when they tried it, said all I needed to know. Safe to avoid it. The Mac n cheese was so bland. It appeared to have plenty of cheese but there was no flavor. This might be the worst mac in Harlem. The appetizer Calamari and accompanying sauces were mediocre. Im not sure who is cooking the Shrimp and grits but the texture was giving polenta. I personally ordered the penne al vodka. I didnt know penne vodka in New York City could be so bland. The flavors were missing the mark on every dish. Now the service: after waiting an hour (after our initial reservation time) we were seated. Then waited 15 mins for a server to appear which only happened after we asked who was supposed to be serving us. Our glasses were left unattended the entire meal. We routinely had to seek out our server. Such a disappointment. I do not usually write negative reviews but I was absolutely shocked by the experience. I was left feeling like I wish I stayed at home and cooked my own meal, it would have been much better. Id also like to add 18% gratuity was included. I have never dined in a resturant and not tipped 20% or more. But after this experience an included 18% for the worst service and mediocre meal was salt in the wound. Maybe if you only order an elementary dish like waffles youll enjoy your meal.
