Blue Ribbon Brasserie

Blue Ribbon Brasserie is a restaurant you must go once in a lifetime. It is a very good place hang out with friends. The location is very central and easy to access. They provide the warm and cozy atmosphere. This time we ordered claw fish , fried chicken, fried oysters and ribeye steak. All the food is very very good. I really impressed the ribeye. The taste is amazing. The food price is also reasonable. The staffs are very helpful especially Alice. Next time I come to NYC I will visit this place again. .

Finally foie gras! And a real list that got me all giddy. I had the special: Mediterranean meatballs on a bed of hummus, pine nuts, and pomegranate served with pita. The bread pudding is light and crunchy... not a thing I thought I would say for bread pudding. The crew that works there like their job, it's visible! incredible and happy service. They all smile from within!

Cozy, perfect and traditional seafood spot - been there for years and wonderful on a weeknight. Make sure to get salt and pepper prawns and a nice piece of fresh fish.

The food is easily a 4.5, but our service was shockingly bad. As all the other reviews suggest, for sure get the oxtail bone marrow appetizer. Super rich and delicious. My fried chicken was also fantastic. Not so great? The server who barely stopped by the table. We ordered a bottle of wine and it never showed up. Simple solution, right? Just ask/remind your server. After we ordered our food, he never came back to check on us. A food runner brought entrees out. That was it. No opportunity to even flag the waiter down. When the bill came, the wine was on it. At that point I tried to get the server's attention but he agnrily waved me away because he was busy heading to another table. When he finally came over, I asked him to remove the wine. He asked, "why would I ever do that?" Umm, because we never got it. He left for about 5 minutes and came back with an adjusted check. No apology, no acknowledgement, nothing. Buyer beware.
