For a Zagat rated restaurant I was surprised to find the food worst than even Non-Zagat rated or other Mexican restaurants in the area. My wife and I went to this restaurant, and out of the 7 Mexican places we have been in New Rochelle this is the worst and most expensive one. After the dinner while leaving the restaurant, the server actually said "Don't come back again, we don't like your business." Does a dinner get any better than that?

Nice dining room, food presented well. Tamale a little dry but everything else was good!

Horrible Service and the food made me sick for like 3 days. Omar the night server decided to charge me over 25% more without my consent, when I wanted to ask him why he did that? He said because my wife didn't tip him a month ago on a $12 dollar charged. When we check the bank account she had tip him $5 bucks. Either way I think it was rood of him by taking a decision like this. This is how restaurants loose not one but two customers!! Then I called back to speak to the manager and the server answer the phone and then changed his story to, "I was rude to the waitress when I question the amount and that's why they charged me what they charged me". Don't get the "Queso fundido with sausage" it's horrible and very grease compare to other places. My stomachs hurt after I ate the Queso fundido. Place it's kind of expensive for the quality of food.

I went with my husband and two boys and they charge extra for a second helping of chips and salsa. If I ask for more bread at a resturant they always give it to the customer for free they never charge for it. How much does it cost for a few chips and salsa. What nerve and the worst of all they have the nerve to add the tip on your bill and they do it in such a way so that you don't even realize it and if you don't notice it you can land up giving another tip out of your pocket. I never heard of doing this unless you are at least 6 people. We were only 4 people and they don't even tell you that they are going to do this. I have been to other places where they tell you that they will be doing this and it is for 6 or more people. I will ner return there and I will tell all my friends what they are about.
