These people installed a system in our home and we have had constant problems with brown water for almost 2 years. When I call them for appointment they have made me wait up 1.5 weeks to have someone come check the system. When I called to try to get help the women on the phone was defensive and angry and extremely unprofessional. When you pay thousands of dollars for a water system you should be able to get answers from the people who installed it without rudeness. Bottom line, go somewhere else. There are plenty of places to get water treatment systems where people don’t treat you like dirt.

The folks at Hudson valley water resources are great. I've been using them for about four years now. They are responsive and knowledgeable and they are never trying to make a quick buck. There were a couple times where they could have easily convinced me that I needed rebedding or a new system but instead they found the real problem and either fixed it or told me how to fix it ( no charge). These folks are real people doing the best they can!!

I have been using this company to service my water system in Woodstock, NY for a couple of years. I was getting occasional black specks of carbon coming out of my faucets after they recently serviced my carbon filter tank and changed the carbon media in it. I thought at first it was normal to get some residual sediment after they did the work, so I didn't bother to call them right away until it got worse after about 6-8 weeks. When I called them to tell them what was happening, they were not very helpful and very unprofessional in my opinion. They told me to bypass the carbon filter, which I did and the particles of carbon have now stopped. I believe they may have done something wrong when servicing the filter or maybe caused damage to it. The other issue is the age of the tank and that they probably should have told me to replace it entirely, instead of charging me almost $500 to change the carbon media. Now they tell me they only guarantee their work for 30 days! I also previously had them inspect my pressure tank, which seemed very old, rusty, and not working properly. They thought it was fine without really inspecting it properly. I have since had another GOOD water treatment company inspect it and they found that it was in need of replacement and that the internal bladder was shot. Hudson Valley Water also previously installed a UV filter, which I recently found out was not piped properly. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Beware! They also have terrible customer service and make you wait many weeks for a service call, probably because they don't have enough technicians to serve their customers.

Had a repair guy from them, the guy couldn't figure out a simple problem and was slamming doors in the basement and at my front door. He was having a temper tantrum. He didn't fix it, gave him a check for $400 and immediately stopped payment on it. Never heard from HVWR again, KEEP AWAY FROM HVWR, totally incompetent
