Aug. 1, 2022 - Based on a friend's top notch experience and referral for Dr. Mark Dobriner, it prompted me to schedule an appointment as fast as I could. I searched online and requested a call back. They were so efficient! I got a call the same day (it was a Friday) and scheduled an appointment for the Monday. The front desk was very thorough asking the necessary questions before my visit; saved time upon my in person visit. The staff was very friendly and I felt comfortable with the social distancing measures in place. Very clean and both masks and sanitizer stations were available should you need it.

I had a colonscopy on 8/22/22. Gloria at the front desk was very amicable and helpful. When I got to the procedure room, I was met by Dr. Schreiber, the anesthesiologistt and Marivel, her assistant. They both made me feel at ease from start to finish. They allowed me to ask questions and made sure I was aware of everything that was going to happen. Janelle, the practice nurse, was absolutely fantastic. You couldn't ask for a nusrse with a better bedside manner. She even told me that she purchases recovery room snacks out-of-pocket if she can't get them from the regular distributor. Finally, Dr. Sneider, the colorectal surgery specialist, was great. She made sure I understood everything, both before and after the procedure, and the procedure itself went well. In short, this team turned a not-so-pleasant experience into a positive visit. My daughter had a Pilonidal Cyst that was operated on in July 2020. She was supposed to come back for the standard one week follow up, of which, kept getting cancelled until they finally saw her 3 weeks later. The front desk at this place constantly either cancelled appointments or put her in for the wrong locations. Her cyst never healed properly and what was told to us to be a 6 week recovery process took almost 2 years. We went back to this group and providers and followed up, but their care was subpar and the doctor seemed uninterested in finding a solution. Finally, they told us another surgery was warranted. I realized that if the wound didn't heal the first time, a more aggressive surgery would not be the best solution. So, I found another WONDERFUL surgeon, Dr Bute in Melville who consistently saw my daughter and has us apply Silver Nitrate sticks daily (because if a wound is wet, you have to keep it dry) and her cyst finally closed. He saved us another surgery and my daughter the pain of another procedure.
