I went to purchase my groceries. I attempted to use my EGift-Card that was given to me as a gift from a family member. I presented the card information (number, pin, barcode) to the cashier. The cashier had no idea what to do so she calls her manager over. Here comes Pauletta Bowman, I explain to her that I am trying to use my gift card and she says to me we dont accept that here. I didnt quite understand what she meant so I asked for clarity. She said the card isnt valid. As I continued to show her the details of the card on my phone she told me to call corporate and walked away. I couldnt believe what had just happened. So I called corporate to find out they are closed on the weekends. I did my own research on the spot and came across all the detailed information regarding E-gift Cards on the Stop & Shop website. Everything on the website pointed to there being no limitations on how the card can be used. After waiting 10 minutes for the manager to come back over to assist me, I explained to her the facts that are stated on the website. She still told me the card was not valid and it cannot be used in this stores location. I wound up having to pay with my own money and not using the gift card because I was forced into that situation. I have never in my life met someone whose only agenda was to put others down. I will be contacting corporate and driving the extra 5 minutes to go to ShopRite. The worst case of customer care Ive ever seen in my life.

They dont allow you to return formula even if its sealed and unopened. They said because its considered contaminated. So now as a single mom Im short 50$ and also I still need to spend more money for my sons correct formula. I literally decon hazmat material for a living and I just think thats absolutely ridiculous. If its completely sealed its NOT contaminated. Either this company hasnt done the correct research or they are just trying to find more ways to take peoples money and thats disgusting. Anyways thanks for listening

Basically I need to be on the phone with my boyfriend while he works in this store but this store has THE WORST SERVICE THE POOR MAN IS LITERALLY A ROBOT. Fix this or you guys will ruin our relationship.
