    The doctors all are Professional, same day appointment, they care about the kids I love this place.

    Aside from Sarah the NP the office could do better. It takes forever to get in touch with someone for an appt or to speak with someone, they also just randomly cancelled his appt the other day and for the second time is trying to discharge him from the practice with no explanation. I've called at least 8 times, numerous vm in regards to the reason and you either get a vm or no answer and if they do they put you on hold for 15 min or longer. so we will be taking our care else where and ill be pursuing other avenues as well.

    I have five children that comes here, FIVE and apparently I had back to back appointments with my twins, and I wasn't made aware of their policy changes recently, I was arriving 5mins late and called to let them be aware of the 5mins, speaking with whomever the receptionist was. MY GOD!!! WHAT NASTY AND DISGUSTING ATTITUDE to be at a front desk.. Clearly NO customer service training at all. Instead of defusing the situation and finding a solution to the problem, that I missed the first appt time, because i have twins, and was never made aware that appt times were now 30 mins apart, you would rather be nasty with a disgusting attitude, snippy answers, and lose 5 patients oh because it's not your establishment, and let me guess you're being paid anyways. Hmm. As for Miss Annmarie LAZY OFFICE MANAGER, that should have conducted an investigation in listening to the so called calls for monitoring and quality purposes. DID NOT AND HAVE NOT called me with a solution for the problem i endured as a customer over 3years. So I'll take my kids somewhere else.. The doctors and nurses are AWESOME P.S. Mark my words this establishment will be closed by the end of the year!! I serve a God of Justice to the righteous!!

    Unbeknownst to me, there was a discrepancy with my daughters insurance when it was renewed (at the end of March). I had to make her a same day sick visit (Tuesday 4/2) and wasnt aware of this discrepancy until i had to make this appointment. I had been calling back and forth with our insurance company trying to figure out what was going on. I quickly figured out what had happened and called the office to make them aware of what the issues was, that it was rectified and that shed show as active in 24-48 hours with the effective date to be shown as 4/1. This all started the hour before her appt and continued leading up to 10mins before her appt. While i was on the phone with VALENTINA at Peds First explaining what I had just found out and what needed to happen next, I said that this was going to run into our appt time, should I change my appt to a later time? She was incredibly rude and very shortly told me no to just send the info to the email so she can start to figure it out. So, I did that. Never got a call backI had to call. I asked if she had gotten my email and to which she simply replied yes.why she didnt call me back, beyond me. I had to then inquire what the issue was to which she then proceeded to, very condescendingly, tell me that what I had sent her wasnt enough because it was from NYS Health and not our insurance provider directly (which I understand) and proceeded to then accuse me of TELLING her that the visit HAS to be backdated..which was completely untrue. I told her that our insurance provider said IT COULD be backdated because she will be eligible in 48 hours or less, as long as their office would agree to do so. I was calling to see if they would do that because if not I was going to hold off a day- not TELL them to do that, which is what she accused me of. She then told me that it didnt matter anyway because I MISSED MY APPT AND COULDNT BE SEEN. Reminder : I ASKED if i should change my appt time to a later time and SHE told me NO. I felt myself become enraged at this point and told her I no longer wanted to deal with her and to get a supervisor to which she refused, continued to talk over me and raise her voice and ultimately HUNG UP on me. And even stated Im hanging up on you. I called back and she picked up and hung up again!!! I finally got through to a RATIONAL person who was very helpful, listened to me, and helped me navigate next steps regarding my daughters insurance and appointment and assured me the manager, Annemarie, would call me the next day. Wouldnt you guess it, she never called. I had an appointment in the afternoon that following day and had to ask for her to come and speak with me. She first told me she had no idea something had happened. Concerning. Then she told me the following: thats not like Valentina, well, shes just monotone, it comes across rude, Ill have to listen to the recordings and the most baffling of all - if a patient on the other end of the phone becomes abusive I am okay with my girls hanging up on them. Insinuating that I was speaking abusively and then condoning her to hang up on me. A baffling way to run a health care facility. This practices job is to help and care for my children and they INTENTIONALLY denied that service to me the afternoon Valentina hung up and me and told me I couldnt be seen. And even worse and even more disheartening to learn that the person who oversees this practice was OKAY with how she behaved and treated me. My family will without doubt be leaving this practice and thank God their best provider is leaving and we can follow him. And nowI understand why hes leaving, theyre running themselves into the ground.
