Filipino food in Long Island City! This is the sister shop to Ihawan in Woodside. Expect the same good barbecue. I love getting the sticks. This Ihawan also serves sushi and is more trendy than the Woodside location. I like it. You can still order family style Filipino dishes to share. Lumpia, beef tongue, sinigang, etc. You name it, they got it.

There aren't many Filipino restaurants around the city, the ones in Manhattan are good but costs twice as much as this place. Ihawan gives you twice the portion for half the price compared to Manhattan. I tried to fried pork belly with rice, excellent. My wife had the oxtail with plenty of peanut sauce. I also liked the Lumpiang Shanghai rolls.They also have halo-halo for dessert. I'll be back here again soon!

Great location for Pinoy food but my halo-halo sucked...there was no ube ice cream inside and was filled with canned sugar syrup...it felt sickening...go take the train a couple of stops further to Tito Rad's if u want better food.
