Tri-Star Lumber

I was very happy to find this place. I went there looking for a scrap of plywood to create a working table top. The guys behind the counter were very pleasant and intelligent. They sent me back into the lumber area where I found the staff to be the same. Quick and I got more than I expected.
At some of the other lumber stores I have been to I found the staff to be slightly irritated or even downright intimidating when asking for your info. E.g; 'What size piece do you want?', '...about this big..." "What size? 10 inches? 20?" You know the type. I can be rude too but what I really want is a headache free transaction. Is it really possible for a paying customer to get the question wrong?
I had none of these problems here and the guy in the back rooted around until he found a really nice scrap in good condition. He cut it for me for free and I paid in for what I was happily surprised to say a steal. I'm just glad that they are right around the corner!
