Best dentist around. Very professional and pays attention to detail. She is very passionate about her work, and the results show it. I highly recommend Dr. Shin, I have been a patient since 2012.

I suspect most of the glowing reviews of this dentist are fake or written by friends of the business. If you weren't afraid of going to the dentist before, you will be after one visit to this place. I chose Modern Dental strictly because it was one of the few dentists in the area that would take my insurance. Right off the bat, the entire inside of this place is cramped and absolutely stifling (I was sweating just sitting in the waiting room). Even most of the exam rooms lacked air-conditioning or ventilation of any kind every time I went. Wait times are long, most of the nurses can barely speak English and Dr. Shin herself is nasty, hurried and extremely unprofessional. On my first visit, she claimed I had four teeth that were "in danger" of forming cavities and needed to have sealant applied to them. Six months later, it turned into 11 teeth. How does four turn into 11?! If that wasn't bad enough, since the procedure, a new gap has appeared between my two front teeth when I close my mouth that was NOT there before. Needless to say, I'm going to need to find a new dentist to undo the damage this one did to my teeth and whom treats their patients like people instead of dollars signs. Run for your life.
