My husband and I and our friends have eaten inside and outside at Alegria Garden Cafe, for lunch and dinner. The food is delicious. The menu, with mainly organic and local food, is consistently so well prepared and presented that it is hard to find a restaurant to match Alegria in Lake Placid, New York. The wine list is interesting, offers a wide range of selections and they allow customers to bring their own selections from their wine cellars for a reasonable corkage fee.
We are lucky to have Alegria in our small town. If you have not yet tried Alegria - it means joy in Portuguese - you should. It is a joy and a delightful dining experience.
We highly recommend it and give it a 5 out of 5 star review.
