Restaurant and restrooms clean and good presentation. Waitress and waiters efficient and pleasant. The food was not good. The appetizer was tasty but cold. We had the steak for two ($49.00) it was awful - tough and full of grizzle. The baked potatoes tasted microwaved and were cold (the butter did not melt quickly) the green beans were bright green and not cooked. They had a salad bar it was terrible, dry and stale. All in all we were very very disapointed. We do not go out often and were feeling let down with the Skytop. We only saw the waitress and waiter not a manager or anyone who seemed to be in charge. If we had we would have voiced our dissatisfaction to that person.

Just happened to be in the area on this past Friday afternoon shopping locally. Wanted to grab a late lunch and this place looked the most interesting close by. The service was awesome, nothing left to chance. My bud and I both ordered the Ruben off the specials menu. Very unique served open face on top of a toasted baguette with what they called house made sauerkraut. It looked great and tasted as good as it looked. Well done!

When I pulled up to the restaurant I had some apprehensions because of its location and proximity to the motel next door and lack of customers. When we got inside the dining area looked neat and well put together, and the bar was well stocked. The air was cool so we opted to sit outside on the patio. We had a couple issues with bugs flying around but it being summer didn't think anything of it. Though cintrella candles might have been helpful. The apps didn't come out together which to me was unprofessional. My crabs cakes came out first but we had to wait at least another 5 minutes before her Ceasar salad came out. I got the filet mingion for entree and she had the sesame salmon. I don't recall the exact wording in the menu, but when the salmon came out it was encrusted in sesame seeds and didn't look very appetizing. I got loaded mashed potatoes with my steak, which was an extra 4 dollars that I didn't find out about till the bill came. The steak was mediocre, not what I was expecting from a place billing itself as a steakhouse. The sautéed green beans were undercooked. The worst part of the meal was the so called dessert. The "peach cobbler" tasted like canned peach fruit with a yellow cake mix on top. It tasted awful. When we confronted the waitress about it she admitted that it was made the day before and heated in the microwave before being served. She offered to bring out a piece of chocolate cake for us that were again mediocre at best. The manager was kind enough to comp us $20 off our $60 bill because I was celebrating my birthday but I ended up apologizing to my g/f for taking her out to a crap restaurant and ruining my celebration.
