This school could not be better, it's a blessing for our community. Highly recommended.

This review is based on a personal experience and I am truly not interested in damaging anyones reputation. I just need to make sure that people know who they are dealing with. We have been with NB in Smithtown previously and our experience was positive. After a switch to the KP location I have recognized that my child started to be extremely sensitive, agitated and wetting herself again (fully potty trained for 2 yrs). Whenever I would come to the classroom, the teachers seemed nice and engaged so I suspected that my child is struggling with the change and that itll take time to adjust. But it did not get better and 8 weeks forward after the school year started, I am being told by a person within the school, that my daughters teacher is talking bad about me and my daughter and telling them, that they should not be friends with us and some other bad things. I found this very confusing since the teacher always told me how well my daughter is doing ( socially and academically) and also engaged me in several conversations during drop off and pick up. She pretended to be nice, would Involve me in chats about anything like travel, life experiences etc) That teacher was so fake and staged being friendly and a good person. I am wondering what was really happening in the classroom and how she really treated my child? Did she bully her and my daughter couldnt understand and process what the teacher was doing and her only way was to express it in her behavior? After finding out we reported it to the management and the teacher got confronted- she did not deny any of it and the management was pretending to be somehow apologetic. Who gave the teacher the right to disgrace my child who cant even defend herself? The owner of that school was rude and said: if you dont like it , please withdraw and well issue a refund of that what you had paid for this month. That teacher shouldve been discharged immediately, but instead the management decided to cover up for her and treated me like a criminal when I stopped by to pick up my childs belongings. The made sure I am not talking to anyone, not enter the school beyond the entrance and escorted me out. I do not care about a refund, I care about the right values - especially in a facility where I am leaving my child, believing that she is safe there. That teacher caused severe emotional damage and neither the management or the teacher cared about it. Since this is a private school which is dealing with huge amounts of children, one child more or less doesnt matter and they are only interested in preserving their image without truly standing up for the right values. I am extremely disappointed and just hope that no one ever needs to face something like that.
