Came home last night and closed the garage door......BANG! broken spring. Went straight to the big G for guidance. Same Day Commercial Garage Door Repair looked like a smaller, more personal company and indeed they are. Scheduled online last night for this morning at 9 a.m. Appointment was confirmed electronically. This I liked that he did not try to sell me anything else besides the springs I needed. ( I figured while he was here, I would ask him to replace the stock rollers with larger, higher quality ones). Elliot inspected, repaired, replaced both springs with heavier duty ones at my request, lubricated and adjusted everything. Whole process was about an hour and a half. Elliot was courteous, respectful and professional. Same Day Commercial Garage Door Repair will be the ONLY Company I call in the future! Oh, and they have a 5 Years warranty on their springs! I contacted Same Day Commercial Overhead Door Repair at 11:00 this morning when I woke up to discover a broken door spring. I first spoke to Dominick on the phone who was very helpful, informative and pleasant. The price he quoted me was within budget and the work and parts came with an attractive warranty. Dominick showed up an hour and a half later and "took care of my door business". I have had garage door repair people out before but Dominick was by far much more pleasant, professional and a genuinely good guy. He explained things and provided useful information on maintenance I could do annually to add to the longevity of my opener and door.
