St James' Chapel, Hyde Park

By size, it's small but this church is amazing and there are numerous factors which separates this church from others. It has a dynamic pastor and his family, the members here are warm and friendly, the environment is homely and the way the church service is conducted, just beautiful and unique. It's snuggled in a small corner of Hyde Park opposite of the USPS at the erstwhile St. James Chapel and the present community makes the difference. The beauty of this church is, as small as it seems the heart of the members of this church is ginormous. They support missions and they have members scattered all over the country. The church continue to uphold the members even though they're no longer with them. If I have to elaborate on the liturgy of the service, it'd be something like, starting the service with praise and worship, announcements, prayers for the community and the word of God followed by fellowship through coffee and snacks. Sheep stealing, which is a very common practice among Christians and among churches is not prevalent and in fact this church refers other churches their members can visit too. If you're looking for a church to attend, this church comes highly recommend for anyone who'd love to join a church who would gradually become more like a family. This is coming from a member with a first hand experience who is far away from home and completely feels at home.
