The Fairlawn Inn

What a gem! Fairlawn Inn is the first boutique hotel I’ve stayed and way to set the standard. The host, Sandy, is one of the most hospitable person I’ve ever met. Full of energy, friendliness, positivity, and ready to provide whatever we need to make our stay pleasant. We visited the town to watch foliage and Sandy have every recommendations we need from viewpoint to eatery. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and we enjoy gourmet complimentary breakfast. Sandy also went above and beyond in making guests feel like family vs visitors; and we ended up making friends with other travelers because of her introduction. If you need, there is also a fire pit at night, pool table, board games, books - plenty to keep you busy. Overall, thank you for such a great stay and impressive weekend trip.

It was comfortable and clean. The manager - Sandy? - was lovely and very helpful. Breakfast is included, as well as water, and small snacks. A historic inn!!

If I were allowed to give it 10 stars I would have. The hospitality was excellent! The building is an old home from the 1800s, made me feel very nostalgic, a very enjoyable stay.

Beautifully appointed property great details and very friendly staff. We’ll located, in Hunter everything is close by. The owner Sandy couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. Her beacon is to die for. The sound issues with the rooms have been taken care of. It is the best place to stay in Hunter!
