Imagine working somewhere and when someone who raised you, who is also immediate family, passes away, they fire you because you need time off to grieve. I can honestly say I was not impressed with my coworkers either, most didn't seem like they even cared about the animals. I will never recommend them to anyone again.

This place is useless when it comes to needing help with animals. Also the Foster to Adopt program is the worse program ever, they only add to the overpopulation of unwanted and homeless animals!!!!!!! They are also of no help on TNR of feral cats

"Terrible staff to work with" ...as they were usensitive to a dying wish from a dogs owner promised by best friend see to the dogs getting a good home ..staff was cold and manipulative with application process. SHAMEFUL PLACE

At first, I really believed this was a reliable shelter. But within a few weeks I realized I was just being given the run around. I picked a cat to do the foster to adopt process because this was my first cat that I would have by myself (I had pets throughout my childhood) I was told she was approximately 6 months old. The cats at the shelter seemed to be sniffling and sneezing and had what seemed to be a cold, but the cat I picked out seemed to not be this way. Within the first week of having her home she was sneezing, sniffling, and had a green purulent discharge coming from her eyes and ears. Took her to the vet without records (because I could not have hers until I fully adopted her) and come to find out she has an upper respiratory infection, ear mites, and is approximately 3-4 times the age they claimed her to be. Understandably I chose to get her illnesses treated and chose to also finish the adoption process. It took almost 2-3 weeks to finish this process because it was a constant back and forth game and seemed impossible to ever get into touch with the right person. I am now discovering that she also has intestinal worms that she came home with. Overall, I understand when you have many cats all together things can be spread around but this is just unacceptable and I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to give my cat a better life than she was previously provided.
