    I highly recommend Maximum Cooling. We found them to be courteous, knowledgeable and pleasant. The technician that worked on our unit and the office staff were very professional. We called them based on a recommendation of a friend. We needed a repair of our Climate Master HVAC system and Maximum Cooling was there on time and the work was completed efficiently. We happily give Maximum Cooling a 5 star rating.

    A+ service all around for Maximum Cooling. I live in a penthouse in Manhattan and recently had trouble with my HVAC unit. Maximum Cooling was recommended to me by my building management, and now I know why. The General Manager and customer service team were extremely helpful in setting up my service call in a timely manner. The technician was knowledgeable and thorough in his diagnosis of my problem. Maximum Cooling completed the repairs and left my apartment spotless (they even put on shoe covers to protect my floors). I purchased a service agreement with them and they will be the only company I use going forward for my maintenance and repairs. I highly recommend Maximum Cooling to anyone who wants an honest and fair company!!

    Called for the LTC nursing facility I work for. They put me on a 4-6 week lead time to just show up to diagnose the issue. They told me, that the wait time was because I wasn't a contracted customer. Funny thing is that, I need a service contract and was interested in a proposal from them for the roughly 100k/year contract! News flash to Maximum cooling!! You get new customers by preforming superior work, having excellent response times and excellent customer service! Well, 4-6 weeks rolled around and they couldn't return my calls or answer my emails. Specifically, I was trying to communicate with Suzana. All I wanted was to know when they were coming and that they were still interested in doing the work because of the lack of communication! If you're looking for a responsive, reliable company...these people may not be for you! Not speaking on their mechanics , just on how the front end of the place is ran! Disappointing because they were recommended by a colleague.

    STAY AWAY. While the technicians and customer service are always friendly, unfortunately, the actual service doesn't make using this company an option for you. Maximum Cooling has been servicing my building in Manhattan for the past 5 years and somehow, more often that not, they seem to leave our HVAC units in unsatisfactory condition. The only reason why we continue to use them is because they have a service contract with the building. My last experience with them is what has led me to write this review, which is the first I have EVER written for a company. About 2 years ago, my bedroom unit wasn't functioning. Maximum Cooling made a service call and replaced "The Reversing Valve, The High Pressure Switch, and the Low Pressure Switch," and charged me $1549.18. That same night, the unit failed and the company had to come back and repair again. A year and a half after that repair, the unit has failed again. I finally just had them come to repair the unit, as we are headed towards summer. They made their service call and replaced the same "Low Pressure Switch" they installed above for another $941.90 and fixed another leak for $738, totaling $1679.90. The company admits that the Low Pressure Switch they installed was found to be defective, but tells me that I am responsible because they can't be held accountable for the part. To review, they installed a part that was found to be defective and I pay it. In addition to this, the "repaired unit" rattles to the point that we now sleep with a sound machine on to block out the noise. Finally, when the company charged my credit card on file, they ignored a promised 10% building relationship credit. It wasn't until I requested the credit that I was reimbursed. Again, nice people, poor service. They do not take complete ownership of their work. Don't use them.
