UPDATED: Inspection for another new construction: This is the second time we used Bob for his services. We used him for a brand new NVR home in Baltimore County for both the pre-drywall inspection and the final walkthrough. Both time Bob was very thorough, doing a detailed visual inspection of the property, and testing out to confirm things worked. Eventhough this is our second home, he just didnt assume we remember everything from our past report and explained everything. Just like before he was happy to explain everything, pointing out things and explaining in what situation it is a concern or not and offering after service call with questions if we have any. At all time he remained courteous and professional. Bob did a visual check of the attic and noticed that the builder did not put in enough insulations, so we were able to get the builder to remedy that. Due to the weather he couldnt use his drones to do a physical inspection of the roof, but he does provide that service. However, he indicated that during the pre-drywall, he was able to visually inspect from the inside and didn't see anything concerning. He is very knowledgeable and caring snd uses technologies (drone, thermal cams, 360-degree phots, etc.) to ensure the reports are thorough. He helped us ensure that our interest was being met by the builder. As always, within a short period we received the full report from Bob, containing photos and drawings to help us out. We also got a book on common house maintenance tips, which is extremely useful. We do not regret using Bob a second time and will defiantly use him next time! ======= We used Bob for a Ryan Home's new constructions and couldn't have been happier. Bob is very thorough and took his time explaining everything he was going to do and did. He is more than happy to dumb down industrial jargon. He was very courteous and professional at all times. We used his services for our pre-drywall and final walk-through. For the final walk-through he even went up in the attic to inspect the insulation. Not only did Bob provide the findings within 48 hours, but he was happy to explain the report and provide his professional opinions to the post-report response from the builder. We highly recommend him.

Thorough, knowledgeable, and professional are, as others have said, exactly how I would describe Mr. Moody. We recently had him perform a home inspection where he was kind enough to explain both what he saw, as well as, share general home maintenance information. Along with the detailed inspection report Bob included recommendations of local contracting companies to contact for further follow up. At the end of the day the peace of mind he provided made the decision for my wife and I to move forward with the property that much easier. Purchasing a house we had been living in as a rental for several years and wanted some peace of mind before we made such a large purchase. Bob was that piece of mind. He came highly recommended by a friend he more then earned that recommendation. Not only is he personable, he knows his craft, he was upfront that he was not a expert in all areas but he had been doing this a long time and he was well versed in many areas. over 4 hours he walked through the house with me explaining what maintenance we should do, what we should fix, what we should budget to replace base on age. He was extremely thorough and professional, having lived here we knew of some of the issues but he found others we knew nothing about. He even provided a binder with a handy home maintenance book which I promise you I will use. investing in a home inspection from bob at Diligent Home Inspections is the best value you could possibly get.
