Work was actually nice, experience was outrageous. On June 3rd 2021, a guy approached me while I was clearing weeds along my really long driveway. He says he just finished a paving job, and has some blacktop left on the truck he’s trying to get rid of. He offers to spread it as far as it goes, for $3/sq foot. After some thought, I agree I could use some along the foundation of the house. They get about half way around my 1200sq ft house, so roughly 80-90 ft with a foot and a half border, so I’m expecting to pay them $300-400. When they are done, about 30 mins later, I ask how far they got and what I owe. They take a looooong time to provide an answer, IN WRITING!! The price was so outrageous the guy couldn’t even say it to my face!! Hands me a post card with $4800 written on it!! I was in such shock, I had to ask him to read it out loud to me. Of course there was no way I was paying that. Wrote them a $500 check for their time. Later I come to find out they asked other people working on the property several times about my husband being around, making sure they’re ready just dealing with a clueless woman before attempting this ridiculous scam!! The little work they did is actually quite nice, but I can’t recommend hiring anyone with such shady business practices. Hire at your own risk!

Professional work. No surprises. Saul, the owner, was on site the whole time with his crew. They were here when promised and did a thorough job on my new driveway. Saul and His wife Jaime are great and easy to deal with. If I need anything (sealcoat, repair) I just text Jaime and it gets scheduled.

We needed a new driveway and didn’t know who to call. We did the usual calling around for estimates. Out of the blue, we consulted Angie’s List and were put in touch with Saul’s Paving. Our immediate contact was very impressive. An appointment was made to obtain an estimate. Saul’s Paving arrived when expected and immediately gave us an estimate on the company letterhead and a was handed a company brochure outlining their services. Their approach to doing business was very professional from the start. The estimate we received was more reasonable. When it came time for the driveway installation, they arrived when scheduled and completed the work in one day. Their crew was excellent and the finished product was outstanding. We highly recommend Saul’s Paving for a excellent service and fine product.
