image We're only here for a make up class because we usually go to the jewish center location (for 9 months). I'm actually very happy with the outcome. we got coach Bahrat and I could see that he is very seasoned, speaks with authority but at the same time, good with kids. He made my son do a lot of 'real' swimming in that span of 30mins compared to the other location where we go to wherein they just let him kick with a paddle board that looks like a barbell (not sure how to call it). I'm thinking of switching him to this place instead if there's an available slot with the same coach.

image To whom it may concern
Good afternoon
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the recent interaction I had with one of your employees, Brina(thats how she introduced herself), who I believe is a manager within your organization. The incident occurred during a telephone conversation on 03/20/2024 at 11.02 am.
During the call, Brina displayed unprofessional behavior and poor customer service skills. Not only was she rude and dismissive, but she also abruptly terminated the call without addressing my concerns adequately. This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the level of service I expect from Take me to the water.
As a customer, I value respectful and courteous communication, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, Brina failed to meet these basic standards, leaving me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with the level of service provided.
I believe it is imperative for Take Me To the water to address this matter promptly and take appropriate action to ensure that all employees, especially those in managerial positions, uphold the values of professionalism and customer-centricity. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could provide assurances that steps will be taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
I trust that you will investigate this matter thoroughly and take the necessary measures to rectify the situation. I look forward to receiving a prompt response regarding the actions taken to address my concerns.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Jenny Pimentel

image I have been taking my daughter here since she was 5mo old and now she is nearly 2 years old. We take breaks during the harsh winter. We always go in a weekend morning class and have had good/moderate experiences with the instructors. Today was not good at all. The weekend AM baby and me instructor, Manny, is normally emotional and passive aggressive (easily irritated) but today he was fully aggressive towards me in front of the whole class, I was the only mom with baby in the pool with all dads and their kids. I bought my daughter a floating suit to test out and asked a very nice female life guard if I could try it out on her before class which was about to start in 1-2 mins. I went to the far side by the wall so as not to disturb the current class. My daughter tested the floaty and then we took it off. She happened to see a daycare classmate and we swam over to say hello. Manny came over and not only interrupted our conversation with the classmate and her dad but also barked at me to not engage with his 8:30am class members. That was uncomfortable so I told him we knew each other and just let it go and continued to swim with my daughter and her new floaty. Then we saw the 9am class was soon starting so I took it off and put it on the side and he was there by me again in an aggressive tone to say stay out of the far lane. I was agin shocked at his abrasive tone and assuming I planned to stay there. I asked the female lifeguard if he was okay. She said normally the pool is wide open but a private class was happening in that lane and I understood so I stayed away from the rest of the time. Our class was now staring so we jumped in to participate. My daughter is working on kicking with arms and legs and floating so we focused on that as well as swimming to/holding onto the wall then leaping into water. We had fun with other kids until Manny demanded that I give him my daughter give her to me and I said no thats okay. He said what?!l why and I just said no thank we are okay doing what we are doing. Then he took it a step further and announced to the other dads in the class that I dont know why people even come here if they arent going to participate. They should t even come. So I chose to ignore him and keep my distance from him for the rest of the class since he was interested in antagonizing the situation. The life guard must have told the front desk lady about the ordeal because when I was asking her about other classes for babies and other times to come she mentioned Manny was the main baby and me teacher. Then I told her he is very aggressive and she agreed and said she doesnt know why he is like that. She said he was annoyed the life guard let me into the pool 2 mins too early. I told her to please note the situation and keep an eye on it before it was very uncomfortable especially since I was the only mother in the pool and the only person of color. It doesnt look or feel good. I laughed it off with my husband but we wont be taking anymore classes with Manny. Well find another class where Manny is not involved. Thanks!!!

image My 5 year old usually goes to this swim center. Shes very shy and never complains. Today was the first time I took my 2 year old to mommy and me and the pool was literally freezing. My daughter was shaking vigorously and her lips were turning blue. I tried to warm her up and swim but after about 5 min I couldnt even handle it. The instructor was saying its ok just jump around a little. Im sorry but if Im paying ridiculous money for a mommy and me class. My toddler shouldnt have to jump around to get warm. The water should be comfortable. I came out of the water after 5 min and dressed her and went to speak to the people in the office and they were rude. Very rude. Convincing me the water is 86 and its the weather outside thats making it seem colder than it really is. This please is ridiculous. I asked my older one if the water is always cold, her response was well sometimes its warm but sometimes its cold. Its inappropriate for them to not pay attention to the actual temperature of the water when they have children in there.
