- She said she would call me back on Mon. to schedule our first appointment and didn't respond for a week - When she did respond she called me by the wrong name - For our first session she arrived 15 min. late and never made up those 15 min. - She interrupted our session 3 times and got up in the middle to go get something - She talked about herself at length during every session, which I thought was unprofessional - I also got the sense, from her tone of voice and facial expression, that she was mocking me during one of our sessions * In short, in my experience at least, she was not very professional or empathetic and kind of self-centered.

I have been seeing Elaine on and off for many years and have always been very happy with her. She has helped me through difficult times in my life, when I needed her guidance and I have always found that it made a difference. Not only is she a great therapist, she also has empathy and warmth and I'm always looking forward to our sessions.
