Akota Grocery& Halal Meat

I always find whatever i need here. Their meat is high quality and halal. I would recommend others to shop here. Their store doesn't look the most appealing but they have been serving the community for years and their staff is friendly and helpful. People who complain about them not being “clean” have not been to other shops around NYC, and are the same people who will eat mcdonalds. This is my favorite store to shop at in jackson heights

I went to the shop buy ground beef in Nov11.2019 . The ground beef is 4.31 pound, they charged me 4.81 pound. The reason is that they weight the beef when it is bulk. It does not make sense at all. I strong recommend you do not come to this meat shop again since they are dishonest ! Their attitudes are very rude and not polite at all. Tips, never pay money to merchant if you are not happy with the product you buy. After the payment, they will very quickly become another person ! I have reported this unpleasant experience to 311 and my credit card company for compliant !

I been shopping here for 23 years but ever since the pandemic I couldn't go to Akota Grocery& Haram Meat anymore.. Im very old too and i tried to online shop in this store.. there wasn't anything there you sonny boys need make online expricne for the elderly people out there just like me. I cannot shop here anymore I miss this store as much I miss my DEAD DOG. I
