C.A.T.S. Home Inspection School - Fishkill

C.A.T.S Is an excellent home inspector training school. I attended the Fishkill ny class instructed by Peter Damiano. Pete gives clear class instruction and is there to help with any questions you have during mock inspections. Mock inspections and inspection report reviewing are one of the best aspects of training. This is where you put what you have learned in class to real world use, get a feel for what is expected of you as an inspector and also introduces you to different styles of residential and commercial structures and the systems within. In addition Dan Osborn the owner is extremely flexible with paying your tuition cost. No matter what your budget.Highly recommend this home inspector training school.

School blew expectations out of the water, very informative and would highly recommend if trying to start up as a home inspector. Pete D not only a great teacher but better person. 5 stars for Cats!

I just went through this excellent program with Pete Damiano as my instructor. I started in Jan 2023 and finished April 2023. When you want to become a home inspector, there is a list of "approved schools" out on the New York .gov website. and there are many choices. I did research and chose C.A.T.S because of their reputation. I admit, choosing a school can be stressful but if you choose C.A.T.S you have made the right choice. The Instructors and the owner cares about delivering a quality educational experience and a good value for the money. Peter Damiano was a very thorough and excellent instructor. His knowledge of all aspects of construction makes him a valuable tool for education. He is hands on at mock inspections and dedicates personal time to help students. Peter Damiano and the owner Dan Osborne have one goal in mind. Properly prepare students to go out in the real world and run a home inspection business. You will learn all the of the methods and tools needed to properly perform a home inspection. You will learn how to write a comprehensive and professional home inspection report to deliver to your client. You will also lean marketing and promotion tips to get your business off the ground. Proper inspection and report writing is very important and the C.A.T.S home inspection school emphasizes this through high quality curriculum. Thanks C.A.T.S !!!

I have been in the construction coming on 25 years. Just when I thought I have experienced it all well I haven't. Pete Damiano has opened my eyes and mind to see and understand home inspections honing in all the knowledge I have been fortunate to gain with his enumerating experience.
