All Island Mica

I am seeing a lot of comments here on about their service, I think its a misunderstanding because they are manufacturers and wholesalers, I have used them on 30 of my projects over last year and all of my home owners were happy and satisfied. The service on previous comments was probably provided by the retail shops that are not owned by this company. This company manufactures, fabricates and installs the countertops. From my research they install over 1900 kitchen and countertops a year. I would definitely recommend this company. Service: Installation

My countertops were installed by All Island. Some of the issues I ran into are listed below: 1) There was poor communication throughout the entire process. I had to do most of the leg work and follow-ups for an update. 2) upon templating my existing cabinet drawer was broken 3) I had so much trouble when it came to scheduling and coordinating installation. The installers came after their scheduled timeframe with no courtesy call to advise me of the same. This lead to my scheduled plumber not being able to come that day and left me without running water in the kitchen. 4) On installation day the installers told me the countertops werent going to be able to be installed due to incorrect templating UNLESS they cut into my existing cabinets to make the sink fit. I let them cut the cabinets as I thought it was the best option at the time. I later learned that the huge cuts that were made werent necessary at all. After discussing these issues with management at All Island we were able to come up with a solution. However, I will never recommend a product being installed by All Island to a friend or family member based on my experience. Service: Installation

This company was unprofessional from Start to finish. The fabricator for my countertop was in an awful mood and less than professional. He was rude to my carpenter and I. The countertop was cut incorrectly I found out the next morning because the caulk dropped down the edge of the countertop. The installers tried to cover up the terrible cut with an absurd amount of caulk. The installers could not get out of my house fast enough as if they knew the countertop wasnt cut right, they should have never installed it. I had to have my contractor fix their mistake because the company would not return my phone calls. The faucet cut out was not center and the countertop was off by 3/4 of an inch.
