This company which makes expensive lighting systems has  a model, Tolomeo, with a design flaw, and an extremely inefficient and unresponsive repair process with which to address it.. I have two of their floor lamps and each has broken in exactly the same place, at the base. On November 1, 2013, in the latest incident, which replicates my previous experience ( which I thought was a one-off) , I took the broken section ( the "Y" joint) to their Manhattan store and was given a blank repair estimate sheet. I was told that the repair facility would call me within three days. That was three weeks ago. Not only has the repair not been made, I have not even received an estimate. I called the repair facility twice and was assured by an operator (not a repair manager) each time that the repair manager would call me that same day or the very next day at the latest. I have never heard from them. These lamps are expensive but flawed and the service provided by Artemide is non-existent.
