You can't be a just okay Thai restaurant and survive in this neighborhood. Fantastic Thai food at a fantastic price. Drunken Noodles ($7.50 lunch with basic meats like pork with choice of spring roll or salad): Their searing of both the eggs and the pork were a definite step above your typical Thai joint. Had a delicious charred flavor reminiscent of street skewers. Basil fried rice ($7.50 lunch with the same as above): Well-done, with a good level of spice at medium. Their salad is a Japanese-sesame sort of dressing. I liked it better than the spring rolls.
