We had breakfast at about 1pm. 2 other tables were about done with their meals when we arrived. I had decaffeinated coffee my wife had regular coffee. My coffee tasted a bit burnt but her regular coffee was okay. She had 2 eggs, corned beef hash,I had a waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. The potatoes were sliced rather than cubed in the hash. It was hot and the eggs came out as ordered,over medium. The waffle, fresh strawberries and the whipped cream was fresh too. The waffle was not as fluffy as I would have liked. It also lacked a bit of crispness that I would expect from a diner. The waffle had bits of burnt waffle on it and the bunt taste came through. Had the waffle iron been clean and the waffle cooked better,it would have been very good. The waffle was made from scratch ,in my opinion. .
