        I have been a patient for Dr. Dunaief for years now. Recently, I was supposed to have an in-person checkup, but switched the appointment to Zoom, as I had a nasty case of gastroenteritis. Dr. Dunaief was essential to my treatment and recovery. He listened to my symptoms and devised a treatment and after-care plan for me, which included an ER visit for IV fluids. He advised me as to which foods and liquids to avoid and try to include during the illness, and even made me smile with a couple of jokes. He also called me later to see how I was faring, which is such a rarity today. He really made me feel cared for, and my recovery would not have been as swift nor smooth without his advice.

These are some of the things I especially like about Dr. Dunaief: * He is empathetic and not judgmental. * He knows when he doesn't know something and will refer me. * The appointments don't feel rushed. * I feel a spirit of collaboration for me to have the best health. There is so much health information available now and it can be confusing. Dr. Dunaief is great about identifying what is important and is also open minded about new ideas.
