Absolutely terrible! After re visiting this restaurant after 2 years for an afternoon dinner it will definitely be my last. Food had absolutely no flavor especially the rice. No salt what so ever, and the guacamole was just some mushed up avocados in a yellow plastic bowl. The worst of this re visit was the music playing in the restaurant. Hard rock on the radio and Michael Jacksons "Thriller" really?? In a Mexican restaurant??? Yeah.. never again.. I'll go elsewhere to enjoy dinner. I hope the owner is aware of that music playing in your Mexican restaurant. Definitely didnt feel too authentic in there.. and food... thumbs down!!!

La Bonita is the definition of a hidden gem. All drinks and food were delicious. From the Fundido con chorizo to the Chile relleno and enchiladas, everything tasted great. It's a nice surprise to have a place offering a wide variety of a la carte tacos and other staples. Service was friendly and helpful when asking about the menu. Give this place a shot!

Pleasant Staff....Beyond that ? The meal was bland . The Moderna meal was very poorly presented for a Mexican dish. Not worth $18 at all. The pulled chicken tacos not a good choice either. The meat tasted as if was marinating in water very long. The Mozarella sticks were served with no marinara sauce or any sauce at all. If you're American then this basic very bland food will meet your standards but if you're are of Spanish heritage I assure you this is not a genuine authentic Mexican restaurant with great seasoned flavor nor any spice. The Margarita?.... Does not qualify as a Genuine Mexican Margarita. If you want great Mexican flavorful food and real Margaritas go to Medford , Little Mexico or Viva Juan in Selden. La Bonita is not the place!!

Wonderful dining experience! Walking in for the first time, the atmosphere felt warm, cozy, and inviting. My arroz con pollo was so flavorful with delicious seasoning and many pieces of tender chicken. The portion was large, but I managed to eat it all! My glass of sangria was the biggest Ive ever seen, but I managed to finish that as well! The staff was lovely and welcoming. This may have been my first time here, but it certainly wont be my last!
