Must be nice not needing business. The guy hasn't returned my calls in a few days. Which is fine, I'll go somewhere else. I'm a small business consultant in the area. This example is what I don't understand about some small business owners. You want to own a great business then make it happen and don't leave your customers in the dark.

I have ordered birthday cakes /treats/baskets for our three dogs for at least 5 years from Healthy Hound Bakery. Every item ordered has been EXCEPTIONAL. Very very high quality healthy snacks/cakes that are beautifully presented, and packaged perfectly. My dogs and their canine friends LOVE the cakes and treats. My pups can't wait for their birthday in June. :) A+++++++++

After 5+ years of being a Healthy Hound Bakery customer, I am taking my business elsewhere. I recently ordered a birthday cake for my dog and selected the recommended 2-day priority shipping via USPS. The cake never arrived. I contacted customer service and was told the company cannot control USPS (notwithstanding the fact that the company recommends USPS as a carrier) and that my only remedy was to resolve the issue with USPS or return the cake for a refund (seems logical given that the cake never arrived, so basically my option is to deal with the less than stellar customer service of the US Postal Service - no thanks). It is a $20 cake and I do not have hours to waste on a refund for such a small amount, but as a matter of principle, particularly given the length of time that I have been a customer, I am beyond disappointed with the customer service (or rather, complete lack thereof). I would have expected an offer to ship a replacement cake at no additional charge, a credit against future purchases...anything but the unaffected response I received. Adios, Healthy Hound Bakery. It seems our relationships has come to an end.

So appreciative of the extra care and rush order done for my Duke's birthday cake and treats !! The dogs loved every bit, not a crumb left.
