They charged the exact amount of the estimate. They were in and out, with no debris - like magic. The roof is beautiful, and we no longer have to worry about water leaks behind ice buildup. After we fix the insulation, we hope to not get the ice chunks at all!

Dylan responded to my message in mere hours of my call and was very attentive and accommodating to what I was looking to have done on my house. We figured out the color scheme and things were a "go" from there. Dylan and his crew replaced my shake shingles in the high (like omg HIGH) peaks of my 100 year old Victorian home with ease. The crew picks up all messes as they go...no disaster of old materials all over.... I think from pulling in the doing the work and cleanup it took about 4 ish hours and the new vinyl shakes were a very tedious job all done to perfection. My house looks like my castle again. Anxious to have them back to do more projects in the future. I recommend Richter Roofing ALL THE TIME ;) Highly trustworthy and high quality craftsmanship is very hard to find these days. Don't hesitate to call...he gets booked up very quickly!

Looking to have your roof done ? Stay clear of this company, this guy is out of his mind. It’s one thing for someone to simply say, I’m sorry we are too busy to even get to your job, not Dylan at Richter Roofing, instead of saying that, he decided he would call me back and tell me the roof I asked for a quote on would be 3 times the normal going rate, that’s right you heard me. We’re not talking about a fancy standing seam metal roof with a full tear off of decking, ice & water shield, with some felt as well. We’re talking about a corrugated metal roof with screws and 1x4 to go over the ash fault roof that’s there, that’s what his quote over the phone to me was for. $24000. Is what this clown told me. That’s $1500 a square is what he quoted me for this roof. No tear off, no clean up no nothing, just purlins with screws and metal. You folks realize for about a 15 square roof the materials is less then 5k. If you paid this kid for a corrugated metal roof, and you paid this price you got ripped off, not only did you get ripped off your metal roof that should easily last maintenance free for the next 25-35 years is only going to last you 10-12, because your pal Dylan over priced your job with a inferior product.In doing business you won’t be able to make every customer happy, or potential customer happy.But what you can do as a owner of a company is not lie or be deceptive, a simple we are too busy to do that or we just don’t have the skill to do that, instead of being honest Dylan decided to call me back after a week and give me a crazy number.Richter Roofing is a guy who has no clue what he’s doing, he knows enough to be dangerous and out here taking advantage of people who otherwise don’t know any better and or those who are in an immediate need of a roof.This is a prime example of why the southerntier looks so run down, it’s because you got a bunch of contractors out that way who don’t fully know how to bid and or install the products correctly and or you got guys using inferior products to make the most profit.This company lacks communication, is hard to get on the phone and this company will lie to your face in order to try and get the most money out of you. If there was a TV show in dunkirk to catch a contractor, Dylan at Richter roofing would be the spot light.Signed, A local investor/contractor from Buffalo, I’ve been in the construction business and investment business combined over 20 years. I’ve been investing in Dunkirk since 2016 this is my 4th rental property in that area to date. My company along with a holding company own over 50 properties from Rochester NY to Erie PA. (I’m not some guy mad about a high number, I’m a professional who was looking to team up with a company from the area we investing in to help move us along and create a great lasting relationship. Unfortunately that’s not the way contractors work in Dunkirk, they a even try and scam a fellow contractor!Stay Clear of this guy. Do not recommend, Ask to see his Workers Comp insurance as well, he never mentioned a permit, I’ll assume that’s because he don’t have Comp!
