Thank you for a wonderful experience. I have all good things to say about Hillcrest Commons II, for the staff and the grounds and my wonderful neighbors next to me and the apartment is just beautiful...I am just so grateful to you all.

All positives for me! I am thoroughly enjoying living in this well-thought-out community. Beautiful brand new facilities, the 1 bedroom apartment I’m in feels roomier than I expected, lots of time and resources have been spent on their lovely landscaping, thoughtful extras like artwork in the lobbies, patio furniture, barbecue grills, and shuffleboard are much appreciated, and all the extras like emergency cords, sprinklers in every room, and handrails in the rooms as well as hallways make me feel safe and reduce worry for my family about me. From the first meeting to fill out an application and each day since, I have found all staff and employees to be helpful, friendly, diligent, and receptive to questions. Our “super†is hard-working, always on the go, but friendly, helpful, and well—super! I’m a nature and wildlife enthusiast and so I am especially pleased that Hillcrest Commons II has not clear cut all around the property, but instead left lovely wooded and treed areas all around the buildings, and has safe walkways to enjoy the outdoor spaces. I am thankful that in this time of transition for me and this awful pandemic, that these folks are trying so hard to ensure this time is as stress-free as possible, while providing a unique, safe, user-friendly, and lovely senior environment. Special thanks to Debbie, Tonya, and Andy... And I’m guessing they have bosses as well, who I thank for their vision and resources in making this senior experience a positive and pleasant one. Many Thanks!

Don't waste your time! My elderly mother was trying to find a rent controlled apartment in the Carmel area. This place had a lottery with TONS of people on the wait list. She heard back much earlier than we anticipated and wondered why that may have been. Turns out, your income has to be somewhere between 38k-43k and your rent for approx 750sq ft will be over $1,000. You must also have good credit. I'm assuming many people don't fit into their criteria which is why we heard back at least a month earlier than we were expecting. I'm just wondering why this place even exists because it doesn't seem to serve the population it was created for. Maybe it's only for the town to look like its doing something for a vulnerable population who can't find housing when in reality, very few fit their criteria.
