After 25+ years of shopping with this company almost exclusively, my experiences as of late have been poor. Quality: A brand new pair of pants, washed twice, there is a huge rip at the waistline. They have to be thrown out. Purchases: I made a recent online purchase and it never arrived. I contacted them to find out why. I was told that it was returned to the company from the post office but they had no explanation as to why. So I inquired further even though the representative was happy enough to just let me know they have no explanation. After further inquiry I realize that when I had moved several months ago and changed my address with New York and company that wasn’t sufficient. Apparently I also have to change my address in a second area of the same company on the website. I asked the representative if she could do that for me and her answer was no. So after explaining that I had purchased pants that needed to be thrown out because they tore after washing twice and then never received the order I placed, New York and Company’s only response was basically sorry about your luck. I’m sad to have to leave a negative review. I’m even more sad because I need to find a different clothing company to use since they don’t seem to care.
