image I went to go do my tour and try to get enrolled and the recruiter (Kent) seemed nice at first. Then we sat down to go over my application he got down to if I was an convict or not. I was completely honest about it and told him yes he than changed his demeanor fast. Told him I was there cause I wanted an change in my life and that I moved from Florida to here and he just judged me didnt wanna sign me up for enrollment. Told me that no one will hire me in the industry which I disagree I know a lot about the industry and know people personally with an record that change there life and became truckers. And (Kent) told me that he even enrolled people in his school that had records and got jobs and he just shot me down. Didnt even give me an chance I feel they enroll people that they want to enroll.

image This is a great place to learn basic trucking. They are a good place I was in Jan 2022 class. I never felt unsafe or that I was in bad hands. I never felt victimized or answering for stupid stuff. They hung with me through thick and thin I did not pass the test the first time. They followed me months after and continue to be in contact with me, to see if I needed help with placement. I myself tried to be pleasant with everyone in school. I think that plays a part in your individual experience anywhere, respect for others and yourself. Rick, Jerome, Hank, Rob, Frank and Jay are great instructors Chris and Pat were/are my daily friends at school and looked out for me. These guys are doing the students/America, a great service the way they commit to their jobs and communicate with the student body. There's always an issue everywhere you go. But this place can rise above and has many times for me and others. They (Don) really puts some humility and Blue collar decency into you so you are groomed for your placement which is what a lot of students resist. God Bless all the instructors, the placement people and, the Principal; she's a great person too, the staff is friendly. If my kids, anyone I knew, wanted to do trucking I'd send them to NTTS, and have.
