The owner tried not honoring a groupon then was extremely rude and embarrassing about it in front of my date. There were fruit flies all over too.

It was about a 2 hour wait at Mother's at 9 o'clock 3 Fridays ago, so we went across the street to Scarlett. We should have stuck it out and waited for a table at our first choice. What a terrible experience at Scarlett. There were bar seats open and we were starving so we ate there. We ordered banana peppers as an app, ceasar salads, and the $34 steak dinners each. We waited 20 minutes for the first item to arrive...which was the salad and not the app. This wasn't Denny's so I'm not sure why the salad came before the app. A fine dining establishment should know better. 3 minutes after our salad came, the app came out. We love feeling rushed. The banana pepper app was pretty much all melted cheese. 3 minutes after that, our steak dinners came out. Our $34 steaks were about 85% fatty. Barely any meat on them at all. And were ordered medium rare and came out medium well to well. It was disgusting. Friends had joined us at the bar to have drinks. Maura, the bartender (and the one who served us) didn't come over till they had been standing there about ten minutes. This was the worst meal and the worst experience we have had dining out ever. Our bill for the salads, app, steaks, and one pepsi was $90 and we were starving when we left. People say horrible things about this place but I wanted to give Scarlett the benefit of the doubt. Now I know why. We will never return and I suggest you don't either. Mother's across the street has an amazing strip steak dinner for $24 and it is soooo much more worth your money. They have a two hour wait for a reason I guess. Next time I'll make a res...or wait.
